How does ClearCorrect work?
ClearCorrect is a short-term orthodontic treatment that uses clear aligners to guide crooked or crowded teeth into a more harmonious position. They are similar to Invisalign, with the primary difference being that they are a newer product and the aligners are made in the United States.
If you are considering ClearCorrect, Dr. Aaron Cook will start by sitting down with you to discuss your goals to see how we can help. If we determine that this treatment is right for you, he will take digital x-rays and images of your teeth. This information is shared with software that helps Dr. Cook plan the precise movement of your teeth throughout treatment.
Based on our specifications, a series of comfortable plastic aligner trays are designed for you. You will be instructed to wear the trays for no less than 22 hours per day for about two weeks. At the end of that time, you will switch to the next set of aligners that continue to move your teeth.
Our patients choose ClearCorrect because they are comfortable and easy to wear. The aligners can also be removed for eating, oral hygiene, or special occasions. Everyone has unique needs, but treatment with ClearCorrect typically takes about a year to complete for adults.
