We used a combination of Botox and Juvederm Ultra Plus to smooth and add volume to this patient's lips. Her main concerns were the "smoker's / water bottle" lines around her lips that her lipstick bled into, as well overall volume loss. We placed about 8 units of Botox in the muscle encircling the lips in order to relax it a bit, thus smoothing the lines visible in the "before" photo. We then added Juvederm Ultra Plus, a hyauluronic acid filler, to plump her lips a bit while maintaining a natural appearance and size. This procedure took us about 15 minutes, and the results are expected to last her approximately 6-12 months.
